From the President’s Desk
Should I go to the conventions or not? That is a question that gets asked this time of year. Read the article by Deborah Wuehler entitled Conventions are Near - Should I Go?.
Coming to '13 Convention?
Things to Remember:
- Great Speakers and Vendors
This year we have Zan Tyler of Apologia Ministries and Steve Demme of Math U See. David Watkins Chairman of M.A.C.H.E. and Board member of ACHEL as well as Janice Campbell of Everyday Education! And don't miss the vendors! We are encouraging attendees to support our vendors!
This year we are offering various contents in our workshops. If you have a hard time picking and choosing, don't forget, you can purchase a CD recording of that workshop or one you missed!
- Box Tops for Education
We will be collecting for Box Tops at our convention this year! You can find a box in the Registration area when you walk in as well as at the ENCOH Booth.
- Young Entrepreneurs
Please be sure to check out the special section in the exhibit hall for OUR young people (ages 12-25) who have products they have manufactured and would like to sell and have a service they could provide.
- Silent Auction
Another reason to attend the ENOCH Convention – our first ever Silent Auction. You'll have the chance to bid on great items from many of our vendors as well as many other companies. All merchandise has been generously donated by our sponsors. All proceeds from the auction go to benefit ENOCH.
- Used Curriculum Sale
CREDIT CARDS are accepted at the Used Curriculum Sale!
2 ways for registered attendees to benefit.
1. Shop at the Used Curriculum Sale on Saturday from 11:00am – 3:00pm. If you volunteer you can shop Early Bird on Friday night!
2. Drop off your used curriculum when you arrive at the convention. Our volunteers will sort, display and sell your items for you. You will receive your check in the mail 6 weeks after the convention.
All you need are the right forms: http://www.enochnj.org/media/used_book_label_forms.pdf and http://www.enochnj.org/media/UCmasterBookListForm2013.pdf. Be sure to make 2 copies.
- ENOCH of NJ NEEDS YOU - Volunteer!
Over 100 volunteers are needed to serve at the ENOCH Annual Convention. The convention offers an opportunity for you to join hands with ENOCH. If you have already registered, please consider volunteering! If you haven't, be sure to check off the box when you do and we will contact you!
