From the President’s Desk

Friends,

This month ENOCH was busy getting our Exhibitor Registration and Workshop Speaker Registration pages up and running for the 2013 convention.  The Board has been busy making decisions and finalizing other related items to the convention. We have also been busy running the organization to help homeschoolers.

This month I decided to tell you what we have been up to and what we do for you.

• ENOCH is here all the year, whether through FaceBook, Twitter, our webpage, our monthly newsletter, and now Pinterest. (Yes, you can find us as ENOCH of NJ under Pinterest!)
• ENOCH has been busy answering emails and phone calls relating to beginning homeschooling, assisting in finding archery classes, connecting homeschoolers with support group, etc.
• ENOCH with the help of the Task Force has fought numerous bills over the past year with no movement from the Education Committee.
• ENOCH is offering a webinar called “Straight Talk About College.”  Please join Jonathan Brush on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 7:00 PM. Jonathan is a past Director of Admissions for a private college in Virginia and is currently a Regional Director of Admissions for CollegePlus.
• We are finalizing plans for a State House visit for the homeschoolers of NJ.

As you can see we are working hard on passing along information for you as well as assisting homeschoolers with inquiries and fighting for the freedoms of homeschooling in New Jersey. ENOCH is here to serve, that is our calling. Even when we are beaten, discouraged and tired, we press on. As the Apostle Paul said in Philippians 3:14,
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

ENOCH of NJ e-Newsletter NEXT DEADLINE  PLEASE NOTE CHANGES IN DATES OF DEADLINES BELOW!

Here are the deadlines for the upcoming ENOCH of NJ e-Newsletters.  The deadlines are firm and coordinated so that we can get you a fresh newsletter by the first of each month. Thanks.

November 2012:  Thursday, October 25th
December 2012:  Friday, November 23rd * Please note the change in date!
January 2013:  Friday, December 21 * Please note the change in date!

Send all submissions to (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).  This deadline serves the purpose of allowing time for editing and formatting the newsletter in order that time-sensitive information can be posted and mailed in a timely manner.

Final editing begins at the deadline.  Submissions prior to the deadline are always welcome and encouraged.
 
Posting and emailing is normally by the 1st of the month (except for the June issue).
