SEPTEMBER 2013

From the President’s Desk

SAVE THE DATES- May 16th and 17th 2014
for ENOCH's Annual Homeschool Convention!

Speakers and more details to follow in the coming months.

Friends,

So how did you do with last month’s "assignment"?  Don't remember what it was?  I challenged each family to think about how they could help a neighbor or shut-in in some way.  There is still time to send in what your family did and we may include some in October's newsletter. If you did not get a chance to do anything why not do it this month.

School has "started!” Your kids are trying out that new curriculum you picked up at last May's convention and they are really enjoying it. So far so good! The 2014 convention is only eight months away and ENOCH would like to announce one of our speakers - Andrew Pudewa from Institute for Excellence in Writing.  We are excited to have him as a speaker again!!!

Preparations have begun for next year’s convention. If you enjoy this event and would like to get more involved, we are always looking for volunteers to help with the behind-the-scenes operations that occur throughout the year.  We are well into the planning stages: signing our main speakers, inventorying our supplies, etc.  So if you want to get more involved, send me an email at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

We have two fundraisers happening right now. One is BoxTops for Education.  If your support group participates in BoxTops for Education we want you to continue to support them, but if they do not why not support ENOCH?  You can send them to ENOCH of NJ, P.O. Box 308, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716.

The other fundraiser is Boscov's "Friends Helping Friends."  ENOCH is selling special "25% Off Shopping Passes" to be used on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 for $5.00 each. All proceeds from the sold passes benefits ENOCH.  Here is an easy way to support us and save money shopping at Boscov's Department Store.  On that day, there will be free refreshments and multiple chances to win prizes at each location!  Boscov's has eight locations in New Jersey, (Atlantic City, Depford, Eatontown, Moorestown, Toms River, Vineland, Voorhees and Woodbridge) and for those in Hunterdon and Warren Counties there is one in Easton, Pa.  If you would like to purchase a pass, send a check for $5.00 for each pass along with your name and address to ENOCH of NJ, P.O. Box 308, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716 by October 1st.  This is a great co-op or support group event! Ladies, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to spend time with other homeschool moms while going on a shopping spree!

Have a great start to the new school year!

In His Service,
Rich Millward
President
