Group Description:
We are a Catholic homeschool co-operative with families from Union, Somerset and Morris counties. We meet most Fridays between mid-September and early May, with the first Friday of each month off. We meet at the Church of the Little Flower in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. The church is in Union County, 2 miles from the border of Union/Somerset/Morris counties. We have over 40 families, with 135 children. Our Friday program includes Art, Music, Forensics, Dancing, Drama and organized games for the boys. A number of our teachers are hired professionals, including art, music, and dance. Other classes are taught by moms who have a specific interest or skill in that area. We host a number of events throughout the year, including monthly Mom's night outs, a family picnic, a couples night out, etc. Members must commit to being present at the co-op during school hours and helping in various areas.
